Trent Garrett began his real estate journey with Real Estate Champions in 2003. He has always worked in sales and understands the importance of customer satisfaction. This desire to serve was also expressed as a manager of a successful clothing store. Trent grew up in the Como area, attended Como Senior High School and went on to complete a Diploma in Sales & Marketing and Cert. 4 in Marketing Management.
Trent gave flashes of an entrepreneurial streak early when, as a child, he got a mate on board and took to the golf courses to reclaim lost balls, clean them up and sell them at the E-Shed markets in Fremantle. It seems selling was in the blood and the thrill of seeing an opportunity and succeeding while providing a valuable service just made sense.
In 2009, he joined forces with Steve Erceg to launch Verse Property. The vision was to create a thriving, boutique agency—one that was driven by a strong work ethic for the client while making the development of their people a high priority. Away from real estate, Trent sinks his energy into martial arts, running, diving and water sports with an occasional holiday down south. He is aware of how important it is to be a good role model and leader to the younger generation. Trent is involved in motivational speaking to the youth of Perth and inspires them to be all they can be and to help them to reach their full potential. He is also a regular attendee of Victory Life church in Osborne Park.

Steve Erceg was born and raised in Belmont to Croatian-migrant parents. Following a curious fascination with numbers, Steve pursued a career in accountancy following the completion of a diploma at Central Tafe and a B.Comm at Curtin University where he also combined his love of sport with a double degree in Accountancy and Sports Administration.
A broad range of jobs through his years of study all had a common denominator: people. Combined with a frequent love affair with travel, a tug of war developed between numbers and people as Steve contemplated his long term career. While working as an accountant with a commercial cleaning company, a series of chance meetings with Karl Stopic, a local real estate legend, fuelled the desire to make his long-term career on the people side of the ledger.
In 2004, Steve started his real estate career as a buyer manager, working alongside Karl at the former Real Estate Champions (REC) company and developing relationships with sellers in the East Cannington area. When Karl took an extended break, Steve launched out on his own with East Cannington as the focus of his marketing activity.
Steve achieved prolific results while working with REC including Top Selling Sales Representative and the Director’s Award: an award for both performance and a broader contribution to building the culture of the company. During his time at REC, Steve developed a working partnership with Trent Garrett and developed a wealth of knowledge in property development including property trusts, strata titles and project management.
Having discovered first-hand how effectively the two worked together, Steve and Trent made a momentous decision to launch their own real estate business and on April 20, 2009, Verse Property was born. The management of Verse Property allows Steve to continue work with clients and utilise his strong analytical and accountancy skills.
Outside and around his long hours in the real estate industry, Steve indulges in a smorgasbord of activities including running, gym, cycling, jet-skiing, travel, building things, entertaining, music...and the occasional sleep.

After gaining a degree in Information Systems, it didn’t take long for Anil’s desire to be involved in real estate to be rekindled. In 2005, he joined Real Estate Champions as a Buyer Manager. This role was a form of cadetship where he had the opportunity to work under one of the leading real estate agents in the state. During his time there, his primary focus was in the City-Belmont area. A friendship with Verse Director, Steve Erceg, saw Anil join the Verse team in 2009. It was an opportunity to work with a young company with similar values to his and pursuing similar goals. As a salesperson at Verse, Anil’s primary area is the Rivervale-Kewdale area.
Anil is committed to achieving winning results for sellers that exceed their expectations as far as it is possible. He sees immense potential in property development and relishes the prospect of being involved in some development projects in the future. His work ethic is driven by a desire to provide brilliant service and to take on the challenge of helping people reach their property goals.
In his spare time Anil loves playing sport—particularly basketball and hockey. He’s been a long-term goalkeeper for the Riverside Lions Hockey Club where he’s also involved in mentoring some of the junior player.

Prakash was born in Malaysia and had his adolescent education in England before coming to Australia. He has spent the last 20 years living in the northern suburbs of Perth after his family made a decision to migrate here.
Prakash completed a B.Comm in Finance and Economics at Curtin University before taking off up north to work with Saint Barbara Mines. On returning, he gained his real estate license and began buying land, subdividing and building. Prakash worked for Grandwood Homes, a division of Zorzi Homes, for a period in the late nineties. Along the way, he accumulated assets and enjoyed and mourned the rollercoaster of the stock market through the early part of the new millenium.
Whether building, developing or building, Prakash has a strong ability to create and build wealth. He enjoys the building process and relishes the opportunity to grow and asset from the ground up. Building and property development are his greatest passions and he has managed a vast array of townhouse and multiple-dwelling apartment projects throughout Perth including Crawley, East Perth, Como, Applecross and Carlisle.

With a 12-year career in real estate behind him, Lieu has worked for both Ray White Northbridge and Real Estate Champions. It was at the latter that he worked beside Verse Property directors, Trent Garrett and Steve Erceg.
Lieu’s success has been attributed to his desire to go the extra mile for his clients in order to make their move easier. His extensive network of contacts with the services required in the purchasing of property allows Lieu to take much of the stress out of the selling process for his clients.
Lieu is a member of REIWA’s $16-19 Million Club - a recognition of sales success in the industry. He considers real estate to be the most satisfying of professions. The opportunity to become a problem solver and problem fixer is one Lieu relishes.
In 2010, Wanderlust took hold of Lieu as he travelled through South East Asia and Europe for 18 months on a holiday of discovery! It’s a product of her many years of business in the country of her birth, Indonesia. “In Indonesia, food is the fuel of business! You don’t even talk business until you’ve had a good feed. I grew up with the understanding that business relationships were the product of trust and integrity, and that’s forged over time...and food!”
Fluent in Indonesian, Hermina has an extensive network of existing clients through South East Asia. It’s a product of the different stints that she has had with large corporations through the region.
Hermina worked as Export Manager for Bayer Consumer Product Group before moving to a large multi-faceted property development in Indonesia. Large property development corporations in Indonesia offer all facets of the property process: land acquisition, financing, design, building, development, marketing and sales. The breadth of skills she acquired in this position equipped her for a career in property.
In 1995, on a holiday to Perth, she met her future husband, Steve. Together, they worked in Indonesia for three years before moving to Perth in 1998 as a result of the civil unrest in Indonesia at the time. So begin her career in Perth property.Their marriage has also produced a property team of its own! Hermina and Steve work together as property consultants primarily to international markets. Steve provides the expertise in the area of feasibility, zoning requirements and development opportunities, while Hermina sells and markets these developments.
Hermina is highly awarded having Runner-up in the 2007 Master Salesperson award with the Professionals Group and receiving several awards for exceeding high commission targets. She enjoys the freedom and ability to manage your own time and goals that real estate affords.
It should come as no surprise that food is among Hermina’s great passions. She also enjoys reading, music, meeting...and cooking Indonesian food!

Like many in the industry, real estate was not Steve’s first career. Initially managing a removalist company, Steve has worked in a number of industries servicing the resource sector in Western Australia.
Born in Wales, Steve’s family moved to Australia when he was ten years old. He met his wife, Hermina, when she was on a working holiday in Perth in 1995 and the two married in 1996. It didn’t take Steve long observing Hermina at work to discover that property was an ideal opportunity to combine his analytical, strategic and financial skills.
After a stint in Indonesia where Steve taught English, the two headed back to Australia after civil unrest in the country. Back in Australia, the two teamed up on the property front. Passionate about locating the most financially lucrative land developments on the market, Steve brought his strong analytical and presentation skills to the table. Partnering with Hermina, a prolific sales and marketing specialist, the two form Team Chamberlain!
His wife considers Steve ‘the numbers man’: the one who does all the leg work to research and establish the feasibility, trends, hot locations and profitability of projects so that others can benefit when it comes time for Hermina to play her part.Together, they have marketed a string of small to medium developments from 3-14 dwellings through to a 46 lot project in the Wattle Grove area.
Known as ‘Mad Steve’ by his friends for his singular, near-obsessive focus and ability to maintain concentration through all hours of the night, Steve has combined rare focus with good strategy to become the World Champion of ham radio. Add a number of marathons to the mix and you have a man who is going to stick at it for the long haul in order to deliver you the best result. You just need to hope he doesn’t call you at 4am when he delivers for you!

Ryan worked many years in the security industry - fixed hours, in a uniform. He moved from this industry to manage a BP service station in Perth’s northern suburbs. While these chapters of his career have given him interactions with a diverse array of people, it was the opportunity to work hard for a great result for his clients that brought him to
Ryan’s real estate career began with LJ Hooker in 2010. He specialised in the Belmont district, predominantly the suburb of Cloverdale. After three years working there, he’s joined the Verse team.
Ryan is engaged to his long-term partner, Chrystall. Together, they have a four year old son, Tori.
Outside of work, Ryan spends plenty of time the gym. He believes health plays a key role in quality of life. He’s also a passionate supporter of the West Coast Eagles, an avid traveller, and enjoys entertaining with friends.
